The Howard H. Summers Annual Scholarship

The VFPA presents the Howard H. Summers Annual Scholarship award which is available to all VFPA members and relatives of members who are actively pursuing a course of study at a college or university. This annual scholarship, awarded to three students for $500 each, is presented each year in May at the annual membership meeting in honor of Howard H. Summers, one of the founding members of the VFPA and long-time secretary/treasurer. The winners do not need to be present at the meeting and will be notified by mail.

The scholarship winners are chosen by lottery and the check will be made out to both the winner and the school. Applications must me received by 5PM Friday, May 13, 2011.
