Howard Summers Scholarship Award |
The Virginia Fire Prevention Assocaition's scholarship award is named after long time association member Howard Summers.
Each year, VFPA requests names of students enrolled in colleges and universities. These students are the children of VFPA members. The award winner names are drawn at random at the VFPA annual meeting.
The winners of the 2004 Howard Summers Scholarship Award are;
Zack Ziemba
George Mason University Class of 2008
B.S. in Public Administration
and;
Andrew David Throckmorton
Lynchburg College Class of 2008
B.S. in Business Administration
Each will receive $500.
